La Verità is an awarded dance company that creates
multidisciplinary performances integrating dance with
visual arts. Their aim is to create performances that
are driven by the philosophy of approaching every
choreography as a new proposition. They take shape as an
interdisciplinary coming together of music, theatre and
architecture, investigated through the human body.
La Verità Dance Company (BE) was founded in 2011 by Alex
Kyriakoulis and Natasa Frantzi. Instead of reaching for oneness, its
focus is on two choreographers oscillating with their own background,
thus creating (dis) harmony and achieving a unity, while being
conscious of their own individuality. Fascinated by the moving body, La
Verità dance company is open to investigate its various languages and
ways of expressing itself. Every production is a blank canvas on which
the choreographers experience new ways of drawing movement.

Alex Kyriakoulis (Alex Kros) was trained in Dance, Visual arts,
Cinema and Theater. These different disciplines allow him to
walk through the borders of visual arts and dance, creating
performances that are open to all kinds of audiences.
His work and artistic vision has been focused on the creation of
multidisciplinary performances integrating dance, visual arts
with cinematic techniques.
Born in Greece, Alex has a Bachelor of Economics, he studied
dance at Greek National State School of Dance (K.S.O.T)
and Rallou Manou Professional Dance School (GR) as well as
he has an associate degree in Acting And Directing.
Besides his work with La Verita, as a freelance choreographer
he has collaborated with the Greek National Opera Ballet
(GR), Oldenburg Staatstheater (DE), Ballet Du Nord (FR),
Balletto di Roma (IT) among others.
Natasa Frantzi studied dance in National State School of
Dance in Greece (K.S.O.T) where she graduated in 2002. She
started working as a professional dancer in several dance
companies in Greece and abroad among others Hellenic
Dance Company, where she danced repertoires of Wim
Vandekeybus / Ultimavez (BE), Richard Alston (UK) and
Martin Lawrens (UK), aw well as with Unterwegstheater (DE),
Tanztheater Mobil (DE), Compagnie Hybrid (BE), Greig
Burgoyne (UK), Dancers Dance Company (GR), Wrong
Movement (GR), Amagalma Dance Company (GR) and La
Verita Dance Company (BE).
Along with her background as a repertoire dancer, Natasa is
an experienced performer in all fields of contemporary dance
working with improvisation, instant composition and contact
improvisation.
